There is more of a need for homes that are able to accommodate families which have encountered an unforeseeable circumstance to their living arrangements.

In the states there has been significant interest to implement Tiny Homes as an option for homelessness and for emergency housing.

This creates an opportunity for homeless families to have a safe and secure space that they can call their own.

Tiny homes can be designed as a safe environment that is built for purpose for families, meeting needs to provide bed space a lounge even a small kitchen and bathroom.

In the states most local governments around the country have a direct role in dealing with homelessness or have partnerships with agencies and organizations that do so. Some local governments and their partners have climbed aboard the tiny house trend as a strategy to house homeless persons. The Tiny house strategy presents local governments with a potential cost-effective and immediate means to get homeless people into shelter.

If New Zealand were to follow the Tiny Home trend it would assist with the homelessness in Auckland and the rest of country. As every individual needs adequate shelter from the elements.

Overall the Tiny Homes concept has the potential to change homelessness in any country however it is up to local government to choose to implement this idea.
